Whisk(e)y Tastings… in Reverse

    Each session will focus on flavour theory, talking about different elements of whisk(e)y making that will impact the overall flavour of the final product.

  • Taste

    We will then go through as a group and taste the whiskies blind. Participants will try to guess which one is which based on what they learned about flavour theory.

  • Reveal

    The whiskies will be revealed and we will see how each person faired. We will then taste the whiskies together as a group and talk about the brands, what types they are, where they’re from and their flavour profiles.

What’s Included

Private tasting sessions in Vancouver, BC start at $135/person (minimum 12 people) and will include:

  • Discovery call with Reece to determine the theme of the session & whiskies used

  • Two hours of instruction and tasting with Reece Sims

  • Each person will be tasting six (6) whiskies

  • Tasting Mats

  • Tasting/Flavour Wheel Cards

  • Reverse Tasting Method Theory Workbooks

  • Bottled water & pipettes

  • ISO glassware rentals (6 per person)

*We can customize tasting mats, workbooks, super-premium whiskies etc. for an additional charge.
